In today’s expanding global marketplace, businesses, corporations, media teams, oil field specialists and professionals alike are potentially vulnerable to significant security and political risk. Perceived or actual risk whether to personnel, strategies or facilities need to be properly evaluated or the outcome could be; increased insurance premiums, injury, illness, project failure, reduced efficiency or even death.

 

Our Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) course is designed for Close Protection Operatives as well as all kinds of official ‘frontline’ organisations such as the Media, Listed Charities, Aid Agencies, NGO’s, Private Security Companies & Blue chip companies operating in potentially volatile areas around the world (particularly Iraq) and have become aware of their legal liabilities and moral responsibilities for the duty of care of those working for them either as employees, contractors or as volunteers.  This course is also ideal for those already qualified as a UK Close Protection Operator or for individuals who just need a qualification in hostile training.

Our Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) course is delivered by highly experienced instructors who have vast experience in operating and surviving in extremely hostile, volatile environments. The course typically takes place over 3-days and ensures students are well-versed with the potential dangers and hazards they may face in a hostile arena.  A typical course syllabus is listed below, however, we recommend a one to one discussion with one of our instructors so that we can accurately ascertain your needs and draw up a bespoke program.

  • Kidnap and Hostage Awareness, Avoiding & Surviving Kidnap/Hostage Taking
  • Physical Intervention Techniques, Restraints (students must sign a waiver/disclosure beforehand)

On completion students will qualify in Level 2 Physical Intervention, Conflict Management & Tactical Casualty Combat Care (TCCC).
