Having served in the British Army’s Airborne forces in multiple theatres, including Afghanistan, the Balkans and Northern Ireland, Paul left military service to embark upon a career in the security industry. He carried out a number of high-profile roles acting as Close Protection for Diplomats, Middle Eastern government officials, and private High Net Worth Individuals. Having held these types of key positions in a wide variety of environments including, Hostile, Fragile and even maritime, Paul identified an inconsistency in the standards of some colleagues, dependent upon where they trained. In order to address this disparity of standards he decided to create Horizon Security Solutions in 2012, initially focussed upon training the next generation of security professionals, though subsequently expanding to cover a wide range of security and logistic services.
His priority is now ensuring that all areas of Horizon’s broad portfolio meet a consistently high standard, providing both value and quality to all clients. Consequently, Horizon has achieved multiple accreditations and awards in the industry.
Chris Campbell brings a wealth of experience and a diverse background to his role at Horizon. With a military career in the British Army Adjutant General’s Corps (SPS) Branch, Chris served in various clerical roles attached to different Regiments and Corps, both in the UK and overseas.
After transitioning from the military, Chris embarked on a successful career in the health and social care sector. During this time, he excelled as a Service Manager, overseeing the operational delivery of services for one of the UK's largest third sector organisations.
Joining Horizon in 2015, Chris has made significant contributions through his meticulous approach and innovative mindset. He has been instrumental in developing and implementing robust quality management systems that uphold the highest standards of safety, legality, quality, compliance, and accreditation within the organisation
